On the Canada Day long weekend, the Severn Bridge Fairgrounds will be the site of a three-day dog agility trial (June 30-July 2). Interested local residents are welcome to stop by and watch these spirited canines perform their routines, but non-participants are asked to respect the competition. Spectators who visit the fairgrounds may bring their dogs along, but must keep them on a leash and avoid being a distraction to participants. Similar events will also be held at the fairgrounds on the Civic Holiday (Aug. 4-6) and Labour Day (Sept. 2-3) weekends. These trials are officially sanctioned by the Agility Association of Canada and organized by Animoosh Agility, a club here in Severn Bridge.
